Hi I’m Linkon

Yes, Linkon. Not Lincoln. Not Linkin. Linkon.

My parents named me after a character from a 70s TV show called The Mod Squad. The character was Lincoln Hayes and people called him Link. Their big plan was that everyone would call me Link too.

Nope! Never happened! Nobody ever called me Link.

So I spent the better part of my life spelling my name for people and eventually just stopped correcting them. If you’ve been calling me Lincoln in your head this whole time, welcome to the club.

Anyway.

I’m not the most famous person on LinkedIn. I don’t have 50,000 followers or a viral post about my morning routine. I’m just a guy from Ontario who figured out how to help really good people stop being ignored online.

That turned out to be useful.

If you’re here it probably means you’re great at what you do and frustrated that nobody seems to know it. Your LinkedIn profile looks like a resume from 2011. Your content either doesn’t exist or doesn’t land. And the clients who need you most have no idea you exist.

That’s not a talent problem. That’s a visibility problem.

And it’s exactly what I fix.

From Burnout to intentional

I know what it looks like to be buried in work with nothing to show for it.

For years I ran operations for a commercial cleaning company. Hiring, firing, training, quoting, invoicing, managing crews, answering calls at 2am. My wife handled accounts payable and receivables, which meant work never stayed at work. It followed us everywhere.

I was good at it. But at some point my body and mind said enough.

That breaking point was the beginning of something better.

I built LFI Copy with one very deliberate intention — to never be that busy again.

I’m not chasing a million dollar business. I’m not trying to scale an agency or hire a team or build a funnel empire. I want to wake up in the morning, do work I genuinely love, and go to bed knowing I helped someone get noticed today.

That means I work with a small number of clients at a time. Not because I’m exclusive for the sake of it, because that’s the only way I can do this work properly. When I take on a client I’m fully in. Their positioning, their voice, their story. You get my full attention or you don’t get me at all.

If you’re looking for a content mill that cranks out generic posts at scale, I’m not your guy.

But if you want someone who actually gives a damn about getting your story right — and has the patience to keep refining it until it does — then we should probably talk.

“I discovered my passion for writing through my two favorite school classes … Science and Art. These subjects unknowingly laid the groundwork for my career..”

My Skills

I’ve been a public speaker since I was 7 years old.

To be fair, I had a little help back then. 😉

What started in my faith community eventually became one of the most useful skills I’ve ever developed. Over the years I’ve presented to rooms of hundreds, trained crews on specialty products, and learned how to take something complicated and make it land clearly for whoever was sitting in front of me.

That same instinct is behind everything I write.

I was a Science kid and an Art kid growing up. Weird combination, I know. But Science gave me structure — the ability to organize ideas in a way that actually makes sense. Art gave me permission to express those ideas in a way that actually connects.

But the real spark? Psychology.

At some point I got genuinely obsessed with understanding why people do what they do.
Why certain words move people and others fall flat. Why some stories stick and others disappear.
Why a single sentence can make someone feel completely understood while a paragraph full of credentials makes them scroll right past.

That obsession changed everything.

Good copy isn’t just well written. It’s built around how people actually think, feel, and make decisions. When you understand that, every word earns its place on the page.

Put all three together and you get copy that is both clear and human. Logical and warm. Structured enough to convert and personal enough to be believed.

That’s what I build for you.

LinkedIn posts, website copy, and blog content that sounds like you at your best. Content that makes your ideal clients feel like you understand their problem before they ever get on a call with you.

Not because I’m putting words in your mouth.

Because I’m helping you find the right ones.

I work with a select few.

Founders and service-based businesses who want to be seen, not just busy.

If that’s you, let’s start a conversation.
